The Tale of My Two Hands is an inspiring tale of the power of imagination and love for both young and adult readers. It blends a simple story of two hands: Left and Right. The narrator – Left hand is envious of Right hand's talent to paint herself so beautifully. All of this envy which transforms into true friendship. The illustrations drawn by the author are as expressive as his simple language that conveys deeper shades of meaning.
Din Shalit, a 25-years-old artist from Israel, painted the illustrations when he was 20 as part of an art exercise, in which each hand paints both itself and the other and the illustrations remained in a drawer. five years later he remembered the paintings and the story made its first step towards publication.
